Sofia sightseeing tour – Vitosha Boulevard is the heart of Sofia. Therefore, one of the busiest streets of Bulgaria. Anything and everything is there. It is almost 2 km long and it extends from the Southern Park to the St. Nedelya Square.
The Street gets its name from the Vitosha mountain which is one of the symbols of Sofia.
During the Ottoman time the Street was unadapted. With the Liberation of Bulgaria, though it started to change until it reached the status Shopping Paradise. It’s quite a good result! According to a 2007 Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. Study, Vitosha Street is the 22nd most expensive trade Street of the World.
You can find any posh store like D&G, Versace, Escada, Bulgari, La Perla. What else? Of course, Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger, Tru Trussardi, Van Laak, Marella, Max Mara. Let’s not forget Gianfranco Ferré, Emporio, Armani, Boss, Baldinini, Moreschi, Ermenegildo Zegna. It is also known the poshest Street in Bulgaria. It is called posh but definitely there is something for everyone.

And you can be sure you won’t get any question about that popular meeting point. The Pharmacy is located on the corner of Patriarch Eftimii and Vitosha boulevards and is known by everybody. So if you tell anybody from Sofia ‘Let’s meet at Apteka’ they won’t ask you anything but meet you there.
